Love
Rejoice
By any method of choice
With that singing voice
Just loose yourself in the music
And submit to the thrill
Join the movement
Get drunk on the musical pill
Let it slip into your blood
Spread your wings and fly
Sway under the velvet sky
As the raag goes on and on
Sa Re Sa
Ne Sa Pa Ne Ma Sa...

It thrums in your head
The pulse infectious
The feeling momentous
Catch the beat it’s contagious
What a toxic epidemic
Swoon as it courses your veins
Then fall back and let it start all over again

This peice was heavily influenced by the song "Dam Mast Qalander" (the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan version) and the feeling one gets when they listen to it. :boogie: :giggle:

And yes, before those of you who are more versed in Classical Indian Music hurt me, I will have you know that I'm aware I used the word raag where I should have used swar . But it was for lyrical purposes (no pun intended :D) so :nana: to you

Very powerful and positive message, nice job! "Get drunk on that musical pill" , heh that's my favorite line. This might benefit from being a bit longer, but then again I'm not sure if there is anything else that needs to be said. Nice job. :D

Hmm, I see what you mean - I just might have to take that into consideration ;) Thanks!
